Big yard or small yard, we start by looking at your land and asking how you want to use it. Then we make a garden that looks great and feels like yours.

The Founder
“A garden should feel like it has always been there.”
Plant Ahead started with a simple idea: a great garden is planned with care and then looked after for years.
Ryan Reece has designed gardens for many years. He mixes neat shapes with soft, wild flowers. His North Shore gardens are known for their full, layered plants and a look that feels like it has always been there.

How We Work
From the first visit
to year-round care.
Consultation
We walk your yard with you. We ask what you like and what you don't, and we learn what will grow well in each spot.
Design
Ryan turns your ideas into a plan. Every plant and path goes in a spot picked just for your yard.
Building
Our team builds your garden with care, from leveling and stonework to the very last plant.
Care
We come back every season to trim, tidy, and care for your garden so it grows well year after year.
Kind Words
Plant Ahead made our yard look like a dream. Every window now looks out on a pretty picture.
